Break fast with the Ramadan Buffet at Straits Cafe

Straits Café opens its doors to all Muslim guests for the first time this Ramadan. From now till 15 June 2018, Chefs at Straits Café, the newly halal certified restaurant, prepare an evening break fast spread including Gado-Gado – a refreshing salad made with fried tofu, tempeh, hard boiled eggs, beansprouts and lontong served with a creamy peanut sauce and Chicken Tikka Pitta Pockets – tender, tangy chicken in a warm flatbread, Ayam Percik – roasted chicken marinated in flavourful spices such as ginger, galangal, cayenne and cumin.

Straits Café signatures such as Ipoh Chicken Rice, Seafood Sambal Stall, Penang Fried Carrot Cake, Curry Fish Cheek and Durian Dessert Spread including Durian Pengat, Durian Crepes, Durian Tart and Durian Fudge Cake are also available on rotational basis.

 

Furthermore, guests can tuck into an extensive range of sweet treats prepared specially for Ramadan, including Ondeh-Ondeh Cake, Bandung & Lychee Cake, Semolina Pudding, Milk Pudding, Assorted Nonya Kuehs and more.

 

Separate prayer rooms for all female and male guests are available.

Straits Cafe’s Ramadan Mubarak 2018 pricing and timings are as follows:

Monday to Thursday (6.30pm to 10pm): $52++ per person

Friday to Sunday (6.30pm to 10pm): $60++ per person

 

Children aged 6 – 12 dine at 50%, children aged 5 and below dine free with every paying adult.

Located within the iconic Rendezvous Hotel Singapore, the contemporary Halal-certified Straits Café is known for its signature buffet lunch and dinner spread from the Favourites of the Straits.  Menu highlights presents much loved dishes from Penang, Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur and the region.
